The Fifth Gym

Lumiose City Gym

Lumiose city pokemon gym is the 5th gym you must face on your Pokemon journey. This gym is located in the center of Lumiose, the 4th city you enter, in the Prism Tower. Lumioses gym leader is Clemont, "The inventor lighting up the world."

 This gym is the electric type gym of the Kalos region. This gym consists of 5 rooms 4 of which containing 3 trainer and 1 containing Clemont. in order to get to the gym leader you must pass through each room whilst taking part in a quiz. You will be shown a blacked out picture of a Pokemon and then 3 options of which you must select by talking to the trainer of the corresponding lift door. Before finding out if you got the answer right or not you must battle the trainer. if you get the answer wrong you must chose again until you have got it right. If you select correctly then you will enter the lift and progress to the next floor. There are 12 trainers in this gym, excluding Clemont, of whch you only need to battle 4 in order to get to the gym leader. these trainers are as follows:

• School boy Arno - Arno has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 34 Pichirisu.
• School boy Sherlock - Sherlock has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 34 Sunfisk.
• School boy Finnian - Finnian has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 34 dedenne.
• Rising Star Estel - Estel has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 35 Riachu.
• Rising Star Nelly - Nelly has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 35 Magneton.
• Rising Star Helene - Helene has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 35 Manetric.
• Ace trainer Mathis - Mathis has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 36 Lanturn.
• Ace trainer Maxim - Maxim has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 36 Electrode.
• Ace trainer Rico - Rico has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 36 Ampheros.
• Pokéfan Abigale - Abigale has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 34 Minun.
• Pokéfan Lydie - Lydie has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 34 Plusle.
• Pokéfan Tara - Tara has 1 Pokemon a Lvl 34 Pikachu.

Clemont has 3 Pokemon  that you must faint in order to beat the gym.These are a Lvl 35 Emolga, a Lvl 35 Magneton and a Lvl 37 heliolisk. once you have defeated Clemont he will present you with the voltage badge and TM 34 wich contains Thunderbolt.
